What Is EDIF’s JobGarden? JobGarden is a nonprofit business incubator with a special focus on small, growing businesses that sell products and services.
What Are Business Incubators? Business incubators are programs that support the successful development of entrepreneurial companies by creating and orchestrating business support resources and services, which are offered both in the incubator itself and through the incubator’s network of contacts.
Why Are Business Incubators Important? Business incubators foster job and wealth creation, business creation and retention, community revitalization, a community entrepreneurial climate and diversified local economies. The services and programs offered by business incubators provide a synergistic value far greater than that of office space alone.
Where Is Our Incubation Facility? We are located in Sarasota’s Enterprise Zone, off US-301 Southbound, close to downtown.
How Large Is the JobGarden? The JobGarden can house up to ten businesses, and is is over 6,000 sq. ft., including a warehouse and mezzanine.
